Ashe Converting appoints Aldus

Ashe Converting Equipment based in Ipswich UK has appointed Aldus Engineering as agents for their wide web range of slitter rewinders for Australia & New Zealand.

Ashe is a family owned company and was established in 1976 and now exports converting equipment globally. Ashe has established subsidiaries in the USA & China for sales and service to cater for these major export markets.

The extensive Ashe range of converting equipment covers a wide range of applications from the Jade series of primary film winders up to 8.7m wide, down to doctor rewinders in the Emerald Series with a minimum web width  of 300mm.

The most popular machines in the marketplace are the duplex slitter rewinders in the Onyx, Diamond & Sapphire series covering web widths of 1000mm to 2000mm for all general flexible packing films, laminates, papers and label stock products, with speeds up to 800mpm depending upon model and material being slit. The Sapphire S2T Series of high production turret rewinders is designed for the converter who wants maximum production and minimum downtime.
