Devon manufacturer goes East again

As 2000 companies from over 40 countries recently converged upon Ahmedabad in Gujarat (India), one local manufacturing company was hoping to secure additional sales from one of the world’s fastest growing economies

PlastIndia is held every three years and attracts both plastics and rubber companies from across the globe in a 6 day exhibition that saw over 200,000 visitors, viewing some of the latest cutting edge technologies.

Fraser Anti-Static, a world leading manufacturer of static management equipment, were part of a broader British contingent exhibiting at the event, supported by the Department for International Trade and The British Plastics Federation.

Two members of the Fraser Team, Bruce Clothier and Jason Morgan, attended the exhibition along with members of their Indian Partner Omsuntronics, meeting distributors and customers from across the world.

Fraser CEO, Bruce, commented “This is the second largest event of its kind in the world, so it’s really important that we attend. India is another rapidly growing market for our company, and PlastIndia is a great place to do business.”

“Now we’re back from India, the next few weeks are going to be especially busy chasing up the large number of opportunities and contacts that we received during the visit,” added Bruce.

As international sales continue to grow, Fraser Anti-Static will also be attending ChinaPlas in Shanghai, IPLAST in Milan as well as IndoPlas / Indopack / IndoPrint in Jakarta later this year.
