Micro perforation and kiss cutting
At drupa a BSR 550 servo rotary die-cutter provided a standard Bograma demonstration cycle incorporating the production of different products and highlighting how the dies can be easily changed.
Demonstrations included the production of folding boxes, folders and gift card holders plus micro perforation, kiss cutting of stamps and punching of a folding product with special mini format equipment and de-bossing. In-line production of labels including packaging in trays included a rotary die-cutter and the new LS 550 label stacker in addition to a pick&pack tray packaging machine from Sigma Engineering. Of particular interest to digital printers was the demonstration showing production direct from a roll. This line featured: Bograma BSR 550 servo rotary die-cutter, MBO digital unwinder and sheeter plus a Herzog + Heymann mailing system.
