Sun Chemical launches Streamline Optima HPQ range at FESPA 2013

The new Streamline Optima HPQ has been specifically formulated for use with the HP9000/10000, Seiko CP64/100 and Océ 6060/6100 and is the latest addition to the successful Streamline HPQ range of solvent based jet inks for wide-format printers.

The colour and physical properties of the original inks have been matched so that existing colour profiles and printer settings can be used. The new Optima HPQ features performance enhancing features such as increased open time for improved print head stability, wide colour gamut for accurate colour matching and reduced overspray and mottle providing superior print quality.

Nick Henry, operations director, SMP Large Format participated in the beta trials for the Optima HPQ comments:

“We’ve had a very positive experience using the Streamline Optima HPQ and now the beta trial has finished we’re continuing to use the system – it’s excellent! We continue to produce the same quality graphics as with the OEM inks but use less ink with the Optima HPQ. We’ve tried other aftermarket inks and this is by far the best we’ve used.” Adrian Clarke, director, PG Events, comments: “We’ve been using the ink since March as part of the Optima HPQ beta trial and we’re very happy with the results. Due to the nature of the business that we’re in, we don’t need to use the printer every day. It could be sitting idle for a few days which means we normally have to thoroughly clean the printer before running a job. With OEM inks, the machine needed to be cleaned a couple of times before printing, however now the machine only requires one clean before use. As a result the Sun Chemical Streamline Optima HPQ inks also save the business a huge amount of valuable time.” Customers will benefit from reliable, quick and secure ink conversions as the Streamline Optima HPQ is fully supported by unrivalled technical and engineering resource. The new Streamline Optima HPQ will be on show at FESPA 2013 on Sun Chemical’s stand B20N.
