The Converter March digital issue is out now!

Editor’s comment: “Firstly, in case you were unaware, there’s a show called ICE Europe that gets underway this month! It’s definitely on most peoples’ minds at the moment, whether you’re exhibiting or planning to attend, and with the details that are already about it seems that there’s going to be something for everyone!

“Some of the biggest companies from all corners of the converting industry will flock to the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany to reveal new products and display their most popular manufacturing solutions to a worldwide audience. There will be a host of presentations and live demonstrations creating a real buzz across the hundreds of stands.

“Sustainability is a key topic of this year’s event, and the systems that help users save energy (and money) and produce less material waste are sure to steal the show. Automation and digitisation are other key elements, hinting towards the future of converting.

“Read our in-depth show preview from page 10 in this issue. Converter will also have a stand at ICE again this year, come and see us in Hall A5 on Stand 766. We’d love to meet you there!

“Also this month, we bring you news of the companies investing in new markets and parts of the world, opening new facilities to help better serve their customers. As exciting deals are struck in the coming weeks at ICE Europe, hopefully this will enable the industry to work more closely together for the benefit of everyone involved and to sustain this growth.

“As well as this, coating and laminating is a key feature of this issue, with Celloglas discussing the resurgence of its environmentally friendly laminate, as consumer appetite for sustainable solutions are one of the main drivers of industry changes. And on this note, we look at the various future trends in adhesives market, too.”
