Ultrachem brings new and exciting products to LABELEXPO – 11A17

Ultrachem, one of the UK’s largest independent manufacturers and suppliers of coatings and press room consumables will be launching its latest portfolio of products at LabelExpo Europe for UK and global offset, heatset, coldset and label print businesses.

Established in 1981, this £14 million turnover company is still dedicated to delivering manufacturing excellence and a commitment to outstanding customer service. It has built a significant global distribution business and has over 1,500 UK customers and exports to over 100 countries including Ireland, Eastern Europe, USA, the Middle East, India, Central & South America and Australia.

Ultrachem will launch, for the first time, at LabelExpo a new range of UV Flexo inks backed up by an updated range of coatings, adhesives and chemistry for UV and Water Based (WB) printing. The range is specifically formulated and manufactured to meet the challenges of modern day Flexo and label printing.

ULTRAFLEX UV INTENSE – Flexo Ink Series – a new formulation ink system based upon a hi-density 4 colour process set and base colour range. These inks are formulated on a mono pigment basis, for maximum colour consistency with the highest possible colour strength. This allows for lower anilox cell volumes to be set and the inks unique resin chemistry gives exceptional viscosity, gloss, and adhesion. The UltraFlex UV Intense Flexo Ink series is ideal for self-adhesive labels, cartons, pouches and wraparounds.

Ultrachem has also clarified its offering and the UltraFlex UV Intense ink series is fully supported by a range of UltraFlex UV Coatings and UltraFlex UV Adhesives. COLORFLEX WB – Water Based (WB) Flexo Inks series is a continuation of Ultrachem’s UV range and is available for four main WB Flexo ink categories, including Label Inks, and is specifically designed for specialist flexo printing.

To complete the UV & WB portfolio Ultrachem has a wide range of PRIMAFLEX SOLUTIONS consisting of Wash-Ups, Ultrasonic Cleaners and Additives for flexo applications.
