Xeikon to highlight automated digital print manufacturing at Labelexpo’s Automation Arena
Automated digital print manufacturing will be one of the key themes addressed by Xeikon at Labelexpo Europe 2017, Brussels, September 25-28. The company will feature its digital label printing capabilities in Labelexpo’s new Automation Arena.
Hall 11: A shift towards combination in industry with the IoT
Visitors to the Automation Arena, Hall 11, will see two live automated, highly integrated production press lines for digital and conventional label production. They will gain an insight into the benefits of this level of automation in label converting operations, taking time, touches and cost out of the production process. The demonstration will preview how automated label production could evolve over the next five to ten years as Industry 4.0 continues to gain steam in the print and packaging industries.
Xeikon will participate in the digital label production line with its flagship Xeikon 3300 press with in-line laser die-cut unit, integrating solutions of key industry partners CERM, Esko and AVT, demonstrating the potential of a fully streamlined, automated operation.
Hall 5: Xeikon’s customer service brings automation benefits to life
In addition to its participation in the Automation Arena, Xeikon will be showcasing its future-proof automation for label production processes on its stand in Hall 5. Xeikon Solutions and Premium Services offer a creative approach to total customer service. A dedicated team supports label converters in setting up, optimising and meeting all label production needs including prepress, workflow, substrates, printing and finishing.
Xeikon provides digital printing equipment, front-end as well as finishing solutions, and also partners with a long list of industry suppliers to integrate complementary solutions that customers may require to achieve a full automation vision, as such rounding out a total solution.
